—What If The Entire World Was Gay? A Thought-Provoking Video That Exposes Homophobia’s Faulty Logic and Opinions About Homosexuality
An interesting premise for a video (that starts way too slow – just skip over the first 50 seconds of credits): The entire world is gay, and a straight kid is born. How is she treated?
It’s a well-done video. They really hit on all the small ways in which gay kids feel excluded, wrong, every day. From the games kids play, where they just assume someone will be a “mommy” and someone a “daddy,” to playing “smear the queer” with friends after school.
This video completely flips homophobia on its head. It flips the situation around so that homophobes can (hopefully) understand. It shows how homophobia and anti-gay bigotry damages people, and how foolish it sounds when you actually sit back and examine what occurs.
Sooo heartbreaking! Really keys into lgbtq bullying in a way that others can identify. Watch and reblog!
